West Sussex - dreaming of forced induction!

Silly question, to which I think I already know the answer but though I would check with those in the know!!

A friend of mine (no really it is for a change) had standard 7.5" cooper s brake on a non servo car (1979) and by all accounts it stopped quite well. Well we upgraded him to some 7.9" minisport 4 pot jobbies now the brakes are shite! We put it down to bedding in, but hes done enough miles now to bed them in and they are still shockingly bad.

Does he need to add a servo to get more fluid round the system???

Servo only changes the feel of the pedal not the brake's capability!

make sure that they are fully bled out! minisport calipers have a bad reputation of being a bitch to bleed out!

and also make sure that the bleed nipples are at the top of the calipers. seems silly but its been done alot of times!

they're shit brakes, helped anton fit a set to his and the original 8.4" setup felt better.

make sure you get the right bore rear cylinders aswell for the 4 pots, think you need 1/2" ones off the top of me head.
