Treated myself to some new pot joints recently to find they don't fit properly. The inner spline appears too long so does not clip on to the c ring thingy on the output shaft. After a few miles they wobble out.

Got them from Mini Sport. Spoke to Minispares about theirs and they reckoned they got them from the same manufacturer. Minispares said they had not had similar problems. Didn't bother speaking to Minisport as I don't find them particularly useful... |

I got mine from Minisport earlier in the year and they're absolutely fine.

Agree with Carl 100% here. If the parts are no good get them sent back.

Fair point on the let Minisport know so they can do something about it, but I've used the inner part that was worn on my old set and used good 2nd hand outers to sort the problem so can't send them back.

are second hand ones hard o find? Aren't they the same as the ("A" series) Metro ??? I know the Metro drive shafts are longer but I assume the pot joints themselves are the same. I hope so because Metro ones are all I've got left in my box of bits.... Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |

I had issues with mini spares ones, it turned out to be the gaiter, the section that sits on the shaft was too long and when in situ was strtched so when it rotates the gator trys to pull back into shape and pulls the pot out of the box.
