i have been into minispeed and they have quoted me around 2300 for a top spec setup minus the gearbox so i was just wondering if anyone out there had a similar setup for sale or if anyone knows where i could go that is cheaper???i dont realy want to spend more than 2k

It'll be a lot cheaper to build one yourself, if you can? If not try Avonbar, Moorespeed or even your local engine builders. Have a search round on here, there's plenty of companies mentioned

As above, most on the forum seem to build their own (or at least all but the complex machining, and some even do that themselves...).

However, if you don't want to do it yourself, before talking to the companies above, I suggest you do a lot of reading (SEARCH button) to understand what you actually want....

Phrases like "a top spec setup" are meaningless.

As said above. research what spec you want then go from there, you may find alot of the machining done on "top spec" engines isn't essential and could save you alot of money!

There are a few people on here that do top work of modifying heads etc.. for far cheaper than the well known companies.

cheers for all the advice! i forgot to mention that price was for the spec self build kit i wanted but i was just woindering if anyone had one similar to what i want availible. could anyone recomend some one well know to supply and build? i have a metro turbo engine already to exchange
