spi non start

spi wont start ,but when i put a drop of fuel dirrectly into the throttle body it starts and runs fine.There is fuel pressure but cannot understand why it will not start intially ???????? any help would be very greatfull

it seems to be injecting but it runs as soon as you put a drop of fuel through the venturi

put something like one on those mirrors on a telescopic wand down to see check if fuels spraying when cranking

whatever you do, dont put your finger down there!

i can see its spraying but whether its the right amount i dont know

If it's spraying fuel it could be the temp sensor not telling the edu the engine is cold or the pressure reg is only giving you a low pressure so not enough fuel is coming out of the injector when it opens.

yep the temp sender was smashed off when it had a front end smack ,what a stupid place to put it though.
Now its starting fine but not idling ,it idles for a short time and then cuts out....
