Surely part throttle should be either stoich or slightly lean? On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

it does need a rolling road. every time i pin the thorottle it kicks smoke out the exaust so id say its fairly rich, not great when the only fuel you can put in it is v shell power.

Cheers guys, I running between 14.5 & 15.5, which I thought was a bit rich for cruising but thought it worth checking before I started fiddling. Hum wander if this is why my plugs died? Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

Did all the plugs die or just ones on the inner or outer cylinders? https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

Strangely it was 2 & 4 that died, hence my other post about plug type, I'll figure it out eventually. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

Lol, just found the answer to that! Thats odd?? Could it be something to do with your coil pack playing up?

Cheers guys that's exactly what I thought, now I need to figure out why two BPR6ES plugs died simultaneously after about 18 months. As an aside it was plugs 2&4 that died, very strange. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

Possibly but if it was a dodgy coil pack I would have thought it would have taken out either 1&4 or 2&3. I'll see how the new plugs hold up. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:
