I've been having a bit of a problem with the plugs in the BOC, it's still running the MG Metty engine that I put in as a stop gap three years back, only mods being a stage 1 kit and MegaJolt.

Cheers guys that's exactly what I thought, now I need to figure out why two BPR6ES plugs died simultaneously after about 18 months. As an aside it was plugs 2&4 that died, very strange. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

I may be being dim, but isn't the resistive 'R' more to do with radio interference than a performance thing ?
Metric is for people who can't do fractions. |

OEL if they are so sensitive to a bit of oil they are too hard (cold)for the job-try a grade lower. In my experience NGK,s dont take well to being cleaned,so once they are fouled its new ones every time. |

Are BCR7ES a grade higher? With the NGK's the higher the number the colder the plug. ie 8= cold and 6=hot. Champion plugs on the other hand are the other way around ie 9=hot and 6=cold. If the BCR8ES's are fouling try the BCR7ES's. Hope that helps "So wat we gonna do tonight Brain?"
