Looks ok to me. As long as the weights don't move, then the timing is fixed.

I presume Bat is thinking about the thing being balanced?

I would install the dizzy in the motor. Strangely enough there is room for it.

hahah yes i have intercooler piping quite close though... and shud i run vacumm advance

How are you going to get any vacuum advance when you've welded the advance mechanism solid ?

Hi,
The vacuum advance will still work if the base plate is free to move *wink*
I was concerned about the fact that one of the weights wasn't secure and could move and break the weld off the other one...

Think about what you just said for a minute, bearing in mind that you're planning on running a turbo, what do you think is going to happen to the vacuum?
