ok here the story, restored a 1275gt, stuck a turbo in it and now it wont start run.

engine stardard turbo, was running before i added a recon turbo head.

plugs i'll have to go and check, but black from memory, going to check the clearance on the tappets again, and the timing set up as by the haynes, but then i would assume that it wont start as it is if this was out.

you say it runs for 2 to 5 seconds but is lumpy. have you tried pulling out the choke? if so, does it stall straight away? could be too rich |

is the carb gasket for a turbo carb? it has an extra hole in it! i spent a week trying to figure it out :) Yes i moved to the darkside |

does the choke make a difference? ave you tried adjusting the mixture? |

set the fuel pressure too, if you have no guage, atleast run the pump with the engine off, lift the dash pot and see if fuel is coming out the jet. if it is then its likely that its passing the float fuel valve and flooding it. |
