I was off to my local car show here in Delaware and the damn thing broke down.. bad engineering was the cause!

The bracket holding the Megajolt sensor broke off, looks like metal fatigue from the vibration.. luckily my mate rescued me after a coupl eof hours and brought some epoxy glue to get it running again, just cost me a couple of beers!!

I guess the next project is to make another sensor holder, probably mounted on the timing cover as I'm not removing the damn radiator..

Whilst most people seem to prefer a bracket at the "front" of the engine, I chose to mount it on the timing cover too, but I had also chosen to put the trigger wheel on the back face of the pulley.

Hi,
I used a couple of pieces of 1" angle welded to the g/box / rad bracket.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

I have been searching the forum for ideas, plenty out there. Just buying one sounds great but I have already fixed the position of the (American Ford Escort) trigger wheel so will probably have to be another custom bracket. plus I'm not keen on removing the rad engine etc..

I googled the KAD, looks fine but not sure if it would work, remember I have set my missing tooth position based on my last bracket, don't really want to get into rotating that.. But it gives me an Idea on what to make..looks just the job..

KAD use a Fiat/Lancia part for their 5 port kit bolts straight to timing chain cover bolts no mods.

I find the easiest way is to super glue the bolt to the end of one of my fingers.
