Done a search with not much joy.

I'm changing my old choke cable,
which both the cable and sleeve are fcked.
How on earth do i undo the nut that holds the rubber knob to the switch surround. i pulled the other switches out, and can feel the nut thats holding the choke knob handle thing lol in place.
Doe's the whole switch surround come out. i did try pulling it out, but wasn't to sure if there was bolts holding the surround in place ?
I don't want to break it.

All this nut knob pulling lark lol *happy*

Cheers.

There are 2 small nuts that hold the switch panel in place either side, don't overdo them though as they snap quite easily. They are a pain to get to iirc.

Hi,
Undo the two phillips screws that hold the heater to the bottom dash rail. The heater will now hinge down so you can get the the back of the choke cable *wink*
Cheers,
Gavin :)
