I'm due a new inspection light for the garage, I'd like one of these new LED type as they seem pretty good, and ideally a rechargeable with a docking station for it to live on.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Only other criteria is that ideally it needs to be off ebay, as I've some money burning a hole in my paypal.

Ta chaps.

In the garage......again!!

Got a mate who has one of these and they are really bright, probably depends on how much you have to spend Tom.

a mate just bought a "Ring" one, it was much cheaper then the snap on ones he used and it is much better and lasts longer he has now said.

i use the ring ones in work and jsut bought another for the home, an inspection light (rechargeable LED) usually lasts me about 2 months of abuse till the cases crack, they fall to bits or smoke psihes out them. the wee ring ones are awesome, still got my 1st one, looks a bit shabby now but 6 months and counting, nigh on indestructable good light output and last agees, and are small and light weight :)

got one of them too(well one of the other lads does) :) its tough and well built jsut like the wee ring, brighter, but its quite big and heavy! to light a big work area its a better choice, for spot lighting, like working on one particular thing, or in a footwell doing wiring, the ring is better :)

Cheers for the feedback chaps.

I'm tempted by the Redashe as these days I tend to spend a bit more on things on the "buy decent buy once" philosophy, and it also has a docking station which I like the idea of, to keep it chraged up without having to plug it in/out all the time.
It seems the Ring ones also come recommended, I'll have to have a think about it.

if the dock is the same as mine, which it looks like, it has holes in the back to fix on the wall.
