Hi guys, made a start on my front rad today. The main problem I am having is clearance betwen the rad and the starter Moter bit on the transfer case. I've reMoved some of the webing which has helped how much of that can I grind out with out weakening it to much?
Also I was wondering g about removing the suport betwen the top rail of the front pannel and the bottem, would this lead to twisting or flecking of the front pannel? k

That's a handy link. Think I know where I will cut the starter bit back to know. Still not sure about removing the brace on the front pannel though.

I don't think it's a major structural point but the wings might become a bit flappy as a result of removing it?

I'd be tempted to get something in there to replace it.

I don'tmean cut the top slam pannel on the front out just the part that sits behind the grill running from the bottom of the front pannel to the top. I'll try and get a pic of what I mean.

Yeah cut it all out. Makes removing the engine easier too! *wink*

You can also gain some more room by twisting the starter around too, to move the solenoid closer to the block. *wink*
