when i start up the engine it takes quite a while for engine pressure to get up, changed oil pump as old one not in great condition, but still have same syptoms, what might cuase this, new gasket and torqued to right spec. have an oil cooler with quite a bit of pipe on it might this cause it, since i moved the oil cooler lower in the engine bay and added a bit more tube the problem has popped up. but not sure if it this. oil cooler is long ways with unions heading straight up to the sky, unions connecting to the oil cooler are 90 degree bends then to the pipes, takes about 5 seconds to reach pressure and i have a 25 psi oil pressure switch that tells me the same, oil pressure gauge works, oil pressure good when up to pressure even when hot "Can I legally marry people now that I am ordained in the Church of the SubGenius?" aka i know jack sh"t

I have my Oil Cooler on its side with a fair bit of oil pipe and it gets pressure straight away. When cranking the gauge moves up and gets to pressure instant. As seen below. Strange one this, is it a new cooler? Try it without the cooler
1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

the only thing i can think of is its draining either the pipes or cooler when shut off. Only other thing could be sticking oil releif valve, have you got decent oil in. 133.5 bhp 123 lb torque 116mph @6640rpm 9.5psi

update for other people, think i have found problem after some more investigating, if you have issuse like mine and suspect o ring inbetween block and gearbox then run the engine up for a bit if safe and then drop a bit of oil from the sump if it has little air bubbles in it then most likely o ring or duff pump, was told this by a friend, sure enought i have little air bubbles all through my oil, i hate my mini sooooooo very much at the momment "Can I legally marry people now that I am ordained in the Church of the SubGenius?" aka i know jack sh"t
