At 2:30 this afternoon i had a knock on the door and it was a TNT man, i was thinking oo my break servo bits have arrived from James but to my suprise it was my new bike :) i wasnt expecting it untill thursday!

So started by taking all of the sissy shit you dont need off like reflectors on the front and rear wheels and thr front and rear bike reflectors. then went the bell and the cable disk breaks :)

it also came with a few extra's and some more in the post! *happy*

Strait out of the box

Hope Mono Mini hydro breaks front + rear

Dmr V8 pedals in white

How she stands with most on apart from front break and front wheel (Halo SAS front wheel in the post to me :))

Nice, big fan of V8, just wish I could get them in gun metal.

Out of interest what chain are you running? I'm currently using a SRAM 7spd on my SS tried a PC1 but it's too wide to take a power link which is essential in my opinion as I like to take the chain off to clean it.

i think you can get 09 V8's in gun metal :) as for the chain i will try and find out, its a suprisingly nice chain for a standard one... its a KMC Z510HX, 1/2" x 1/8" yank syle

If you are going ride it anywhere near other human beings then yes. A keen cyclist myself (and use my bell) there is nothing worse if out with the kids either walking or even with them on bikes if some knob comes barrelling down at breakneck speed without warning. If you have a bell you can ring it! Unlike this d*ck who took out a mate who was walking around local common test driving this golf trolley (for a manufacturer I hasten to add - he is a surveyor and needs the money in these times so will do any job he is offered).

Ha, Ha, I've gone the other way and got an air horn, bloody joggers with their IPODs don't hear the little poxey bells that bikes come fitted with.

I know it is somewhere near Medway and no idea what the bike is as my mate was operating the golf trolley not the bike!!!

Just found out today company are doing a ride to work scheme but unfortunately it is one that is limited to 1 supplier Wheelies which can never be good but still could buy a decent bike with 12 months interest free and save 420 ish quid!
