Hi, this is Fester, i brought him when i was 11 with the intension of making an italian job mini replica, but when i started going to shows and reading the mags all that changed. I'll put up the spec later, with some more pictures. But heres how i brought it and how it is now, its a very slow project, 5 years in the making. (The light blue mini in the back ground was my first mini, which i stripped for parts and sold on).

Right so whats been done, new wings, front panel, a panels, floors, scuttle, roof, boot floor, new bonnet, new bootlid (have got a mk1 type on order), new doors, inner and outer sills, rear valance, heal board, and various patches here and there, I am however going to buy the mk1 back ends that are now available, as im not happy with the look of the conversion plates. Tubbed rear arches.

suspension wise: new rear subframe, front and back seam welded, new doughnuts all round (worth changing for springs?), hi-lows all round, adjustable camber and toe brackets at the rear, adjustable bottom arms, HD tie rods, MG Midget track rod ends. Poly bushes all round, protech shock absorbers.

Various other bits: new bearings all round, kad handbrake quadrents, braided and copper brake and fuel lines, new shoes and wheel cylinders and all that, superfins, ap master cylinders.

No! The hardest ones were softer than my original doughnuts and the handleing is in the trash!

Well chaps, been a long time since i updated my thread.

Now got a genuine mark one bootlid.
A new fibreglass bonnet.
Filled in two of the wiper holes.
And various other bits, which i cant remember.

Hopefully will be going for spraying for the second time, (same colour) in about march. Fingers Crossed.

Hopefully at bingley on sunday ill be able to get some more parts.

Ill update with some pictures in abit.

Stripped my engine today, ready to start the rebuild. Its going to be a N/A 1430 7 port.
