Looking at purchasing a crane and came across the link below but it is a bit out of date (late October) - does anyone know if Costco are still stocking them?

I've not seen one in the Costco I go to, but having said that I think different stores keep different things.

There's hope then. I have a friend checking his local branch (Milton Keynes) but not having a card it makes getting one from elsewhere difficult.

I would travel to Glasgow if I could get in to the place tobuy it!!

you can go in as a non trade member. which means you can only go in to the store at certain times the other im not sure on how much it cost i think its about 50 but dont quote me.
also for a engine crane machine mart is always a good one to go to and theres always a branch about and you dont half to be a member

Machine mart is about 3rd on the list due to price though. If I can't get hold of one of these then I have found one at £120 including delivery for the same item but 'branded' differently - the same one again is in Machine Mart, as a Clarke, for £165.

Tadge - if MK has stock I will let you know.

can't recall how much the ones on costco were, just that there was one on the shelf. From looking at it in the past, it was identical to my Clarke one I got from machine mart.

if you want to come to Glasgow I'll get you in though

as for membership, I first joined because I was a member of the AA. Think it is currently £29/yr

The other option is to wait for a Machine Mart VAT free day, when I want a large-ish purchase this is what I do, my crane, engine stand, and various air/power tools have all been bought this way.
