Hi Guys, got hooked on the bike carb idea now. bit question is.. i have a brake servo do need to link the two inlets to get the vacuum for it? also i have a map sensor on the mega jolts, will that need to link the inlets and have a small chamber to equalise pressure?
Does any one know the angle at which the carbs need to be?

Thanks

You dont ned to link the inlets for the servo, not sure about the MAP tho.

Arrr ok. So I can run It from the closest inlet.
I know on my friends zetec mk2 escort all four cylinders need to be connected and then in to a chamber to even out the vacuum.

Hi,
You'll at least need to join them together for MAP. You may well need to use TPS for engine load as you won't get a good map signal low down.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

joining them together is surely the better idea, resulting in the sensor taking a better average of whatever the reading is..
What carbs are they? google the bike they came from and take an educated guess..
or take a protractor to the same model bike at a bike show!
