The strangest thing is the firing order on the coil pack is crazy to get the car to tick over correctly ive set it to. 1--->3 2--->1 3--->4 4--->2 Crazy shit i know?? Sounds like the two wires that go from the EDIS to the coil are the wrong way round, or the missing tooth is 180 degrees out, remember with wasted spark 1&4 and 2&3 fire as pairs. What version of the tuning software have you got? and what perspective are you using? I prefer configuration mode (F2) Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

Having those two wires crossed shouldn't cause it to run in limp home mode, I only suggested that as an explanation for the odd firing sequence.

Is the SAW wire connected to the right place on the MJ unit and the EDIS unit? It sounds like the MJ unit knows what the engine is doing, but the correct advance figure isn't getting through to the EDIS. |

I assume simple things like get ignition config & write ignition config work as they should?

as already stated, check all the wiring, check you have voltage at the pip and saw. manually check you have tbc then work back 10degress, which should be 10 teeth, then you would have 10 degress before tdc. |

Anyway know what the returns policy is on TriggerWheels?? Don't know but I'd image they'd be reasonable. If it comes to the worst you've always got the sale of goods act on your side. http://www.berr.gov.uk/whatwedo/consumers/.../page38311.html Best bet is to give them a polite call, they got a reputation to keep so I reckon they'll happily replace it. if the item is faulty then they have to replace it. it is the law. but if you have had it for lets say three years you have no chance |

I would give them a call aswell and keep a note who you spoke to, they may say they will need to bench test it themselves, you may want to be there when they do it |
