Hello chaps, I am having a few problems setting the fuel pressure I could not get the pressure down from 7 psi on my inherited regulator, so thinking that the regulator was knackered I bought a new 1, replaced the crappy old fuel pump and fitted a mpi tank, changed the fuel lines, bought and a Gunsons lo-guage. I connected it all up again using the how to section and i'm back to where I started 7psi and £100 poorer, I can wind the regulator all the way out and the pressure stays constant at 7 as I wind it in I get no changes until maybe the last 4 turns on the thread which will take it up and away past 10.

I have got 8mm inlet and return but I've just been reading other posts which suggest putting a restrictor just before the entry to the regulator, would this be ok? and is it a relatively easy job?
