this is my mini, i got it standard a year ago.

i got to work as soon as i got it, i bought some gaz coilovers, 13x8 split rims, and exhaust.
i made the arches with some miglia ones.

i changed the arches a bit and trimmed them down.

then i changed the exhaust, and made it come out of the side, after toying with having it come out of the middle.

then i added the numbers and mirrors.

its off the road now to do some work.

i'm fitting stiffer springs, fitting an old style steering colunm to get rid of the airbag, and fitting the gearlinkage inside the car.

Think I've seen this car at almost every show I've been to this year! Love the exhaust position.

the wheels are from huddersfield, with 195/45 tyres. they did pull about abit at first, but then i solid mounted the front subframe and now is fine.
the arches are miglia arches, but both are front arches, the ones on the front are extended buy about 5" so they go all the way around the wheels, i did widen the fronts but then i trimmed them down.
the exhaust do's catch on speed bumps, but only the bigger ones, but i'm changing the exhaust so it sits higher and comes out of both sides!!!

this pic shows how low the exhaust sits

haha, as you can probably tell, there is no holding back on this forum! what we think is generally what we say!

welcome!

i like it but would have to agree about the numbers, would have a much cleaner look without! and think of the weight saving!!!!!!

when you do the exhaust next why not cut them up into the floor? ala new tunnel styleeeeee, and create a less restrictive flow path for the gasses?

oh and stick a blower on it!!!turbo, not super...

Did you trim the edge of your front miglias that fixes to the wings? Making them abit narrower so there is less overhang over the wheels?
Can you give me any insight asto your methods? I wana do that! Similar wheels, same arches and same problem..
Thanks, Haribo.

i bought 4
front arches and 2 rear ones, i used the rear ones to cut up and extend the others.
the rear arches are just screwed to the original arhes for now.
the front's are bonded to the original arches making them a bit wider.

then i extened them at the back by about 5"

then i filled and painted them so they could screw on like the standard arch use to.

i had them like this for a bit then i trimmed them down, so the wheel stick out a bit.
i will have to play with the back ones when i tub the arches.
