Right basically I've just rebuilt my engine got it put back together fitted it in the car and i was just fitting the last fuel hose, when the screw from the stainless hose clip fell out and dropped straight down the dipstick hole. (what are chances)*surprised* This obviously needs to come out but cant really see how without takeing the engine apart, has anyone got any ideas?? *Confused*

stainless can be magnatised? drop a extendable magnet down there have a try getting it back? if you have a magnetic oil trap for your drain plug, jack one side of the car up and then the back and get it on there if possible :) jobs a gooden

either way jack the side of the car up first, try and get it moving to one side, preferably the passanger side you jack up lol

Well its out!! In the end i used a henry hoover and some small bore pipe which after some messing about finally sucked the bolt up i didnt have any oil in the sump when i dropped the bolt so i couldnt drop the oil. so i resorted to fishing with a hoover and an led on a piece of wire so i could see what i was doing whilst looking through the oil drain hole.!! took some time but the main point is its out now *smiley* so i can continue putting the finishing touches on the car and hopefully start it soon.
its just a standard 998 for now but i have a new gt15 sitting on a shelf and im half way through building a manifold for it.
