Top one.

Have you loweed your car and if so have you fitted the appropriate length shock?

If not the banging you are hearing is the valves in yoyr shocks taking a beating.

Do you really need a washer in between the body and the rubber on either side?

Id agree with atleast loosing the top one.

i dont think i need the washer above the body. there lowerd shockers and if i just bounce the rear of the car you cn feel/hear it so there not bottoming out.

I have had similar knocking and it turned out to be the lower mounts that had loose nuts so - are the bottom bushes OK too?
