right,

i have fitted a fibreglass boot floor from tdk, so need a fuel tank, rather than pay a silly amount, going to make one at work (sheet metal company) using 52510 ali.

got the fuel filler neck form autosports,

but, been told not to use foam filled, and just to put in some baffles, how do they fit in there, i have an image of just 2 bits of ali going width of tank with large-ish holes 50mm maybe along the bottom edge to stop the fuel surge ?

and does anyone have any ideas of a fuel sender, rather not just have sight gauge on side.

i am running an acewell digidash,

cheers guys

Who has told you not to fill it with foam and why?

I asked the same question awhile back, this post maybe of some use. I haven't heard anything bad about getting the tank foam filled to be honest.

the foam can brake down after a few years and give problems. I have seen this myself, I did not foam fill my tank, but it has an internal swirl pot
