hi people been into minis about 10 years always wanted mini turbo. at the moment got a 55 reg mini cooper works but lookin to get a proper british mini with turbo this year. im undecided to build 1 or buy 1 done, any advise would be gratefull and is there anybody local so we could meet up so i could get some ideas thanks.

Welcome to TM :)
There's a few members nearby.
As to build or buy there's a lot of different ways to look at it.
You could build it yourself, expensive but you know the quality of the work and you get it exactly the way you want it.
Buy one and you have to be sure it's been done properly, it has got all the parts in the engine the seller says it has and the shell hasn't been cobbled together with a load of filler...

i was thinking getting a bog standerd clean mini for about 1500 the droping in metro turbo or buyin 1 done for about 2 /2.5 k
