+20 is certainly OK as my block is at +20, no experience of +40 though.

BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....

I expect the biggest problem will be that from the factory the liners are not centrally bored or at least the ones in my old engine weren't (I'm guessing they have a machine that does all four in one go) so on side of the liner thens to have more meat in it that the other. So the liners may need replacing of you may need to offset bore the block to recenter the bores in the liners. I hope that makes sense. Edited by Rob H on 6th Feb, 2009. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:
