Hi,

I have got my TPS sensor now and know how to make up the bracket for it, I just need to know how to connect the turning bit to the spring pin on the carb, is thee a special nut i need or something??

Chaps what are the advantages of having a TPS Plap a MAP Sensor on a MJLJ?

Will it make the drive any better. Ive been pondering on Fitting one of these.

1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

I just turned up a bit of mild steel hex on the lathe.

Hi,

Started making the bracket for the TPS, can anyone post a picture or diagram of the nut i need to make, i have no problem making it just need to know what it looks like.

It looks a nice neat bit of work - I do like home made bits that are neat and square and don't just look like they've been hacked out of an old washing machine.....

But where's the turbo ???

hahahahaha, minispares didnt really think through how they were going to have thier name on the inlet maniold did they!!!

Thought I would just post a pic of my coil pack bracket I made, im going to mount it on one of the transfer casing bolts.




I am afraid no turbo at the moment, but a supercharger is a possibility for the future.

Sorry for reviving this thread, but I am going to visit a scrap yard soon so could do with knowing this. would something like one off a ford mondeo be ok?

i believe so, just would need some modification to fit on your carb
