Well the Mini is nearly road worthy and running (sort of) so thought I'd get a quote to get her insured so I take it for the dreaded MOT.

I am currently paying €800 a year with "friend of staff" discount on a 998 with no mods. I asked for a quote on the turbo, all mods declared and they just refused On 12th Nov, 2009 Paul S said:

Im paying €645 with a mk1 no mods 998. 3 of the big companys refused point blank to insure me because the car was older than 20 years and Im under 25 so not eligable for clasic insurance. what a load of monkey poo On 17th Feb, 2009 Rob H said:

But your "MOT" system is even more strange..... Sorry, O/T. Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |

All insurance policies go on the Motor Insurance Database so any insurance company can pull up your details.
