Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

im guessing ( could be and probably an wrong) that MK3 was just up as a reference? as in square like the MK3 just without the reverse light.....maybe??

Pretty sure Mk3 had the same type of lamp as the Mk2, with no built in reverse light.

It was in 1976 they introduced the Mk4's and 1977 the rear lamps changed to include the reverse light.

So yeah, Vegard's right in saying all the Mk3's had the same type of lamp.

I apoligise to all effect by this inaccuracy.

Ben.

If you're still after these, I've got a pair off my old 1971 Clubby.

The lenses and chrome is in really good nick, and I think I can find the black lens/body rubbers as well in the garage.

They only have stop/tail and indicator red/amber lenses, deffo no rev.lights.

£20 plus postage if you want them.

PM me.

Richard.

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.
