FYI, The mk3 never had anything else. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

im guessing ( could be and probably an wrong) that MK3 was just up as a reference? as in square like the MK3 just without the reverse light.....maybe?? |

Pretty sure Mk3 had the same type of lamp as the Mk2, with no built in reverse light.
