What other stuff do you have to alter wioth the Mirage?
Thought it was just a question of minor tweaks.Should be no problem for a fabricator

The only thing that needs to be made with the Mirage is an actuator bracket, the rest is just bolt on.

If you don't want to mod the bulkhead, this is the way to go fo simplicity.

You could put he turbo over the flywheel as mentioned, but this is bad for weight distribution and a lot of fabrication.

P.S. Please spell know like know not no, I find it infuriating. I'll let you off tryed (it's tried)

im a dumb ass greese monkey what do you expect lol i looked at the turbo techniks idea as mentioned over the bell housing but i intend to have 13 row oil cooler and intercooler so im juggling it all round at mo as i dont agree with these stupid fibreglass pretend minis.we have fabed some ajustable steady bars to tilt engine bit need to find about inch 1/2 from somewhere we are trying to use a wedge idea at mo puting it between the standard ex manifold and turbo unit to pull turbo into engine anyone no if somone has tryed that idea before

you might want to look at the later spi/mpi subframes then, the engine mounts sit 12mm further forward.

the auto's possibly more? or i might be talking shit again?

Think the auto's sit a little lower looked into this when starting the minus, believe you correct with the spi one having thier mounts 1/2" further forward.

I dont think anyone has ever managed to use a standard manifold without a box.. I tried it out in a cad/cam program and there seemed no way to make it fit..

However few of us have fabricated our own..

If you can cut, file and MIG weld it can be done.. Mines been in for a year or 2 now, no problems so far..

Hi,
A mirage would be a doddle. There's guide in the how to section I think?
Once you fit a turbo, no matter how, there's going to be lots of other things to modify and alter to get everything else in there.
I've fitted my mirage manifold upside down, but there's no way you'll get a carb in there now!
Cheers,
Gavin :)
