I've got a diesel A4 (TDi 130) really good car. I just wish I had been able to afford to get it rolling roaded as I was planning... 170 bananas and 300+ curly wurleys with no mechanicle mod's :d

I have a subaru Justy as a daily hack, £450 of total shit, but it gets abuse and has been 100% reliable so far.

Then I have a Subaru legacy for longer journeys and family business. If you can suffer the fuel consumptio they're a great car. Cheap second hand and been 100% reliable for me (and I've done 150,000 miles in them over the last few years).

Lots of space in the estates for all the mini bits too.

If you're after something smaller, my missus has has a 54 plate Fiesta that has been uninspiring but perfet from new. We keep looking for something to replace it, but nothing on the market is as good an all round car

Hi,
My latest shed is an LPG powered Mondeo!
2.0 quick, cheap, handles well. Brim the tank for £18! *surprised*
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Mine's a 1975 Jaguar XJ6 Coupe, fitted with a 4.0 24V engine from a '91 XJR saloon and 4 speed tranny. Did that myself. Car running on LPG and in NL it's tax excempt (saving an annual 2K(!) in road tax). Looks like crap; goes like stink:)

Rover Tomcat Turbo - 16 years old and looks it, but loads of fun and plenty quick so I don't get bored (hate driving slow cars!) and surprisingly cheap to insure.

A shitty old heap of a Mini.
I'm afraid to buy a modern car as a daily,in case I get too used to the comfort and never want to driver another old car again.

Besides I can park absolutely anywhere without worrying about scratched paint or having my stereo (a Clarion,c.1892) nicked,or getting in in my filthy workclothes,or dropping fag ash on the seats etc.
