Hi,

I am at the stage of wiring in my megajolt, and have bought a ford TPS.

I need to know which way round the three wires go, VREF, TPS and 12 Ignition live, on to the TPS sensor.

Three terminals are labelled A,B,C

Which wire goes to which?

Cheers

Jon

Hi,
First, never connect 12volts to a sensor!
Use the 5volt output for the TPS from the MJ. (Vref)
TPS signal and ground will be the other two connections.
You'll need to look it up in a workshop manual or test the resistance of the sensor with a multimeter.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

will any old tps sensor of ebay do the job, or are there certain megajolt compatible sensors?

i remember being told to use a colvern type tps by someone but no idea how to tell them all apart?

Test the TPS you have.

Heres how I tested mine.

The Megajolt will calibrate the TPS once fitted.

Hope that helps

Pretty much, I've tried a few different ones and had no problems with them.
