Hi guys, need a bit of a favour if possible. This maybe a long shot but does anyone have a set of forged omegas+rings that they could measure the ring gap in a +20 bore for me?

I want to compare my figures before I decide what to do.

Currently getting a tight 17 thou on the top ring. From the information I can find this is a tade loose.

Any comments?

Cheers

Already read through that post V, I just wondered if anyone had any more input regarding forged items.....

Currently waiting a reply from Omega.

My forged Omegas came with the rings fitted.

The only way that I'm going to be able to measure the gap is to pull them off the piston to measure in the bore.

That's double the normal chance of breaking a ring.

Anyone know how consistant Omega rings are?

I took mine off last night Paul, was pretty easy.

But please dont risk it on your own just for my sake!
