No, they're different castings. IIRC you can convert a North/South A series to transverse but not viceversa

It's even got an in-line sump on it but I would never have spotted without the warning - there's even a convenient rag where the diff would be that looks as if it's been dropped on top of the diff that isn't there...... Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |

You CAN convert either way, we have covered this before.Whether its worth it is an entirely different matter.Both myself and a friend,running turbo 1275 A35,s have done it,he more successfully than I,as I have reverted to a Midget block and crank due to rear main sealing problems.That engine is available for the brave or foolhardy!. |
