hi there just wondered if anyone who runs metro 4 pot caliper set up has had any probs with it as i read a old mini world about it and it said because the metros suspention geo was different to a mini on a mini thay have a tendency to pull you all over the road.
any body no anything or read anything similair to this best thing is never seid how to inprove it lol

thats not the brakes, its the metro hubs that a similar, but slightly different and thus change the geometry, the brakes are fine

and yes, garlic bread is tastylicious.

i think that i remember reading that if you just put them on a standard mini setup they will run at a positive camber and that is where some of the odd handling comes from.

if they are late ones you will need Mk1 metro ball joints in them to fit into the mini tapers.

if you put metro hubs on use the metro steering arm with them too.

Only the early metro hubs are a direct fit to a mini. unless you someone produced ball joints for metro hubs with mini tapers.

I believe you can put early ball joints into the later hubs.

I use mkII metro hubs with mkI ball joints. Fit straight on, never noticed any handling problems with 13x7 rims.
