Sometimes i'll log on for for the 1st time in a day, after having had my computer turned off and it will just show the 0 new topics thing, and I have to then go through the todays topics bit.

It's just that I've been using Firefox for a while now (rather than IE) and Firefox prefers tabs rather than new windows, and when I close (or even move between) tabs, the TM "history" often gets lost. Never happened with IE before but, like I said, not a problem - just strange. There are a few other strange things with Firefox, but I live with them, just to put two fingers up to Bill Gates

I use firefox too, I didn't know whether you were closing tabs or closing the browser. If it's just tabs, that's weird.

mine does it too, i just use one tab to show the new posts, then open a new tab for every post im going to read leaving the first tab showing the new posts,
