Ive never seen a remote casing with pot joints. Has saomeone fitted a different diff? I think Id split it and see if its a crosspin, probably isnt though.
Whatever it is Id give you a few quid for the oil pressure gauge pipe if its not broken or twisted.

Mini bits always get good money. Stick it on ebay or try and take it to a show. Do try and find out exactly what spec it is (sorry I can't help) as it may be worth a small fortune. *happy*

thanx all for your posts , i will have to look at whats on it before i get rid ..
in the haynes it has 76.2mm for stroke ,inlet 30.86mm/ex 25.4mm for the head .. will have to get the rule out tomoz .....
