I am not sure whether to change my wheel arches or not, I like the look of the car as it is but think it could mabie do with some fatter arches.

I like the under arched look, but quite fancy a change. I was thinking some that look a little like these, any new ones will be sprayed body color http://www.minispeed.co.uk/classic/index.c...roduct&id=ms128

Opinions please

This actually shows well how it sits!

I have the group 5s, would be nice to see a photoshop of how they might look on your car though

Looks just right how it is now imo. Those arches you linked to would look stupid and overhang your tyres. If you fancy a change you could try group two arches as they will stick out the same as what you have now

I used to have grp copies of the special arches; they were fixed from the underside so no fixings visible and painted body colour with a black moulding; I liked the subtle look and it worked well on that car

not sure who does them now - the company i got them from went bust years ago

I think it looks good as it is, apart from the sticker in the back window screams "boy racer".

I like it how it is.

Maybe spray them body colour or gloss black, so they dont look so plastic.

Never had a problem at mot time, or with the police. The issue gets raised every time I post a picture of it:)

Oh, and the police have also followed me for 5 minutes, including going into a car park, letting me park, then taking one long last look before driving off!

Tom, don't worry. I'm not a pikey/chav/boyracer.

I think I'll experiment on some spare arches I have, making them body color.

I can't lower the car any more as I already hit the floor and exhaust on speed bumps*frown*

these arches earned the owner 3 points and a DC14 "Danger of injury due to condition of vehicle" on his lisence.

i have also been pulled and had a stern bollockig for my arches when i ran 215-wide tyres on the road. youve been warned *wink*

Evolution thanks for the pic cpould not for the life of me think of the name for those arches.

The only way to go if your keeping the colour scheme.

I saw that car at the riviera run yesterday. Nice. Has the law changed on tyres sticking out? It used to be that you werent allowed to see any tread when looking down at the car from above.
My car has group 2 arches and 6x10 minilites. Perfect- just on the verge of being illegal- but I hate "overarched" minis
