when my mini comes onto boost it cuts out. either runs out of fuel or too much???

when u rev it and boost comes on it cuts out or dies out of rev. like it would when theres fuel running out. what might the rpoblem be. im using a holley 3-9psi regulator. it doesnt have vaccum on it for one and also using a na hif44 metro carb with turbo needle and jet..???? help

it seem that you're not pressurise the float chamber correctly,or that your fuel pressure doesn't rise enoughly above boost.
does your pressure reg is boost sensitive ? have you blocked the chamber vent tube? have you sealed the dash pot with a touch of sealant?
if ok I would try to pressurise the float chamber thru the float vent tube to know if it adress the troubles

How old is your fuel pump?

My bets are that the pump is on its way out and can't supply enough fuel pressure when on boost.

As Fab said, your pressure regulator needs to be a rising rate unit that will increase fuel pressure with boost.

Anything else just wont do.

Had this very same problem and it turned out to be the part throtle lean off pipe had a hole in it.

The car would drive perfectly fine with no boost, but the second any boost was produced it would cut out.
