leeds/wakefield.

Neil, lay two lumps of 4x2 [jim and dave] on the floor, heave car on its side, and it will rest on the cill seam, then support the weight on the roof gutter once you find the balance point,

chassis tilter is the sort of thing i am after as the other needs the subframes in

problem with the chassis tilter is it mounts on bumper mounts, the mini is to weak at these points

i might have a pop at making my own

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

I had thought about making one that pop's onto the front subframe towerbolt holes with the bonnet/grille of and on the top of the rear top shocker mounts and boot hinge bolt holes.

Take a look at advantage998's build thread, might give you some ideas about a spit.

As his bolts to the front shock mounts at the front.

For a Van it's probably easier as there's no rear bulkhead, but here are photo's and Dutch comments for my spit. Might help...

for all the hassle of it, you could cut the hole you need in the rear bulkhead for a spit and then weld it up again when your done?

we used a length of scaffold pole with some timber packers to secure to the shell and a couple of timber tressles. cheep and simple

Thats basically what I did, as long as the bodyshell is completely stripped, subframes glass and all, and you put the foam somewhere where its supported (i.e not in the middle of a panel) its fine, I did not have any problems with denting the sides..
