I fancy having a go at something like that. It would make a nice change from Minis.

Now if I could get all the kids to leave home and take their Minis with them.............

out in these sorts of places, this sort of old school craftmanship is still the norm, you should see some of the ship yards in outback turkey, the work they do, and the speed they do it is spectacular!!

Just my sort of thing. It takes a good 10 years before we get to that level of skill. Maybe I should go out there for a job, the trade is dead in this country-people just dont want to pay for it.

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

1st to provide proof of a running Bimmy Conversion!

Brisbane ,Australia

That really is something else hey??? I`ve restored a couple of splitty single cab utes in my time (they`re dam good for carrying the race minis around) & i`ve always wanted to do up a duel cab splitty, (i have the duel cab bay window with the lexus V8 so i`m happy enough for the moment),,,, but i`m still keen on a splitty duel cab but i would just butcher it & fit Nissan GTR skyline running gear right through it keeping it "Look" quite stock std tho *smiley*

Absolutely top workmanship tho, well done to him & he`s a braver man than me taking on such a job

Have you guys any idea what sort of money these things go for tho,,, it`s well worth doing them up i can assure you,,, they go for stooopid money now days

They go for a pretty penny over here, fully restored ones seem to go for 17K plus, wrecks are normally a few grand too!
