would it be an idea to kill ignition and fuel supply with the inertia switch, worst case is massive lean out and melted piston from starvation?

if you crash, last thing you'll be worrying saboult is melted pistons,

relay 1 is a feed from the batery, its switched by the key, it could be runstraight from the key, but in this case the key just provides the curent (20mA) to swith the relay coil, the relay carrys the pumpo current On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

I don't have relay 1 in my circuit. I just use the oil pressure switch to earth the relay. If there is not enougth residual fuel to fire the engine it only takes a few seconds of cranking for the oil pressure light to go out anyway. Own the day
