Well after some deliberation and after sripping down 3x A+ 1275 I took a section of the best bits to build a 1380 SC

So far the block is over at rob walker in witney with a set of 73.5mm cast omega 11cc dish being bored out next week and the centre cap machine for a strap.

I have a box of bits from MED
Oil Pump
Bearings
SC drop gears
Gaskets
Followers
MG metty Cam
Std Unleaded head
1 turbo verto, 1 from unknown
AP rally/race plate
Alloy duplex
Cetral oil pick up
1 very good low mileage Gbox

So the fun begins I will copy roberts verto clutch set up over the weekend. Might even make a steel flywheel if there is any steel big enough at work.

I will get some pics up soon as I get some work done.

Need to get cracking on the head over the weekend open up the chambers and ports

I also get moking up the manifold for SC.

All of this depends on how much work I have to do at work hopefully it will be quiet and I can get on with the above.

I will update as I go

well sorry for the long time since the update.

Engine is all built and in the car... running and kinda idling with the MS. So I am hoping I could find someone else with a rough timing map. I have tried andy500 but no reply.

I will get some pics up later on today hopefully

Sh1t sorry about that mate, i completely forgot. It would probably be best if you download the m3dk software for free from emerald...www.emeraldm3d.com and then i will send a copy of my map and you can scan through it all then.
Cheers
Andy

I am pretty sure I have a copy of the software... think it came with a haynes tech manual on some kind of efi tuning manual.

Anyway that would be great if you could send me a copy over, just want to gett it somewhere close.

It idles pretty well now, and will start after about 3 trys of coughing from cold.

Right time to dig out some pics

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

The plug only needs a gentle tap on the end and the gap will be just right *wink*

Yeah I dropped in an old set of valve when grinding.
