Hi, hope someone can help/advise.

I bought a turbo engine a while back, for spares for my mini turbo engine, and the guy I bought it from said you may have well have this extra cam as well, plus some other bits and bobs. The cam he said was a mildly uprated turbo cam. It's marked 'KC 500' , so I assume its a Kent jobby. I have tried to look up the details on the Kent site plus others to see what the duration range etc is, but I can't find anything on this. Has anyone ever come across this before and know know how good/bad it is, so I can decide if it is of any use to me and either use it, or sell it on if it does not suit. I'll buy it.

It's basically an MG metro cam. It is listed on the Kent website.

Great cheers for that. I just worked out what I did wrong when I tried to use the kent site. I entered the 'KC' in the part number thing, when all I needed to-do was just put the 500 part in. Cam back fine with the details after that. So what are these cams like in turbo engines then, anyone tried one. Obviously not much point swapping it over if it's a wet lettuce.

n/a mg metro cams are very good in turbo engines. If this is the kent equivilant, then it's probably going to be pretty good

They are a great cam, work even better in small bore engines.
