What is the spec of an MG metro cam? Anybody know – TD perhaps?
I have heard its similar to the kent 256, with a powerband between 1000 and 6500 rpm?

Any help would be ace?

KC 500 is exactly the same as an MG metro cam. So:

Make Model Rover Mini Metro

Application Mild Road
Power Band 1500 - 6000
Cam Lift 6.67mm
Valve Lift 8.12mm
Duration Inlet 252 Degrees
Exhaust 268 degrees
Timing Figures 16/56 59/29
Valve Timing 110 Degrees
Valve Clearance 0.40mm

I've just realised i don't have an MG metro cam anymore...
Some welsh boyo 'borrowed' it...

Now, I'm 2700 miles away from the cam i was going to swap over to this winter *frown*

I was timing my camshaft today, and ended up with 111 degrees. Damn, I guess I need to get it to 109 for allowing the chain to stretch a bit.
