i seeeem to remember sprocket covering this in his build thread, one has a ball bearing on a spring that shuts off the flow at low oil pressure Yes i moved to the darkside |

Was gonna make a post about this myself. Just ordered the bimmer jets today. (Part no. 11 11 1 739 907 at £38.41 incl VAT incase you needed it).

Slightly off centre and the drill bit will snag as it breaks through. If you are not ready for it, the drill bit can break as it did with me. Beemer jets definately look neater and slightly easier to fit. The oil supply and fixture are the same so there is one less step to fit them. I (stood there whilst Paul) fitted Zetec jets to my small bore and it was a pain in the hole On 12th Nov, 2009 Paul S said:

id just use a pillar drill as long as its up to the job

Thanks for the link to the bits i need, never ventured into milling. My pillar drill looks identical to yours except floor mounted so hopefully i'll get on ok. |
