just a quick question, does anybody know if the adapted oil cooler
goes on top of the supercharger with the plate welded on top, to
hold it in place, or is the plate welded directly on top to form the tank, and then the water goes through the oil cooler, if you dont know what the f**k i am on about, go to the vmax website, a picture
of the charge cooler has just been added*happy*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Try this:

Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."
Stephen Hawking - "The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge."

Hi

The alloy plate is stucck to the charger with silkaflex or similar to form a little pocket on top of the charger then the oil cooler is slung of the front subby just behind the number plate (but you could fit this anywhere) The post that Paul has put on explains it all quite well i think. But to be honest the performance is as expected and it doesnt really make much difference. The air in the M45 never really comes in to contact with the casing as it is compressed down between the rotors. It does help prevent heat soak though but only for a short period as the coolant content in the system is low.

Im going for WFI over the winter and will detail all of the process again and what improvements/setbacks i find. This should also allow me to get the boost back up a little!

Sorry mini 13 i mean water injection. WFI stands for water for injection in the pharmaceutical industry....an old terminology i used to use every day so its stuch in my head. WFI isnt suitable for use in engines etc, its basically pure water.
