Stoke-on-Trent. Duck.

G'day peeps,

Firstly, I've done a search! (, , ) let be a lesson to newcomers- searching is easy... *wink* however, no answers to what I'm after;

I'm dumping the massive cast steel "servo" fed brake bias valve thing. I've already bought myself a Wilwood bias lever which I plan to install between the (front) seats behind the handbrake.

Minor concern though, my mate last weekend enquired whether running brake lines "inside" the car is OK? Anyone ever had problems with an MOT or SVA with an internal brake line? I plan to make up my own brake lines (copper, or copper/alloy, that's another topic in itself as I need a 'kit').

Anybody have any experience on this?

Cheers, Dave.

Can't comment on the inside/outside issue (mine are all run outside as per OEM) but don't use copper for the brakes....
Use Kunifer (a copper nickel alloy) as its fatigue properties are a lot better than plain copper.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

Theres nothing wrong with fitting them inside, some manufacturers fit them inside as standard
