I have started this project in Setember 2008 when i found this nice cheap Clubman . It has missing some parts , some ( alot of ) rust in other parts .....

So i started to "brake it" apart :) and replacing rusty parts ....

Several months later it's passed from metal section to the paint sction.

I hope it will painted until the end of January 2010....

I also have been colecting several pieces for my Clubman, here are some Photos :)

13"x7" Supertrax + Yokohama A048 175/50R13

Minispares alloy brake calipers for Solid discs ( i bought then used , so i had to "put" then like new )

Carbon Group A side view mirrors

And Some more parts that are ready to fit , has soon the car is painted.

I hope you guys can help me later with the engine , i have a Mg Metro 12HD24 Engine to put in this clubman , but it needs to be repaired, new pistons, etc. I want to build a nice quick car, so i would like your advice regarding the engine department. I'm aiming for 100hp on wheels, sooo what parts do i need ? :)

I liked those wheels. Very very nice. Except i hear they weigh about 12 kilos each.
And second on the turbo.

Looking good there.

A good 1380 with weber 45 will get you 100 brake but I'd doubt it will be 'at the wheels'.

Why not try getting hold of Bill Sollis's Mini Engine Build DVD - that shows you how to get 100 nanas, I think he also gets 100 curleys as well.

Or a turbo is another option which anyone on this site will clearly agree with !!!

Richard.

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.

New year update :)

Front hubs and brakes ready to fit . New grooved discs and mintex 1144 pads.

:) From the regular metro vented brake setup , this setup has 2.4kg less weigth from each hub . From the rear arms i also managed to remove 1.7 kg from each arm . :)

The oversills police

nice parts, and I am sure the car will turn out great, but as expected from me I will warn you that your car will turn into rust faster than it could have done.

The reason being the oversills, there are no vents in them making them collect moisture, and that will lead to your floors and sills rotting out very fast. You should atleast drill some holes in the vents, to let the moisture out. But why fit them in the first place? Do you have something to hide under them? :)
