can any of you chapps tell if its ok to swap the throttle linkage from the left hand side to the right like the NA carbs, as i only have a NA throttle plate to us eat the moment.

No Problem at all. Choke cable gets in the way, but this is easilly fixed by drilling the 'lug' at the top rear of the carb body on the choke spindle side to run the choke cable through. Drill it through with a 1mm drill, then 3/4 through with a 4.5mm drill (or whatever the OD of your cable is) to secure the outer sheave.

You secure the inner cable to the same linkage lever, but use the rearmost hole for the ferule.

I've done this on a few conversions - keeps the choke cable out of the way, and looks very neat.

Is this TPS used to alter the ignition timing as seen on most bikes ?

Is it one of the functions hence requirements of Megajolt ?
