Hey all

I need a full set of manifolds to mount my t2 onto a 998 - without the need for bulkhead mods.

A used set of mirage manifolds wold be great but I will also look at a well made home set up that does the same job.

Mirage do not have any in stock currently and will not have any in stock for a while so thats off the cards for me.

Cash waiting.....

Oh and whilst I'm here I'm still on the lookout for a set of straight cut drops for 998 OR 1275

How quickly do you need one?

I could be tempted to have a go, but I would need your turbo and a head (or some scrap ones) to mock it up on?

Are you after the manifold and downpipe?

Thanks for getting in touch.

next couple of weeks and yes its for the three sections just like the Mirage set up

To keep the cost down I wouldnt want to be sending such large and heavy items out.

Ideally I am looking for someone who has done this before or who has a set they have made and no longer need.

I just dont have the space or time to weld these up myself.

Thanks

Well the offers there, if you have no luck elsewhere. If they are the same size as a GT17 then I may be able to source a head.

I have made a manifold before, just not one for a 5 port. It looks easy enough just difficult to dimension without all the parts. This is my last attempt at a manifold. lol

It turned out that it was going to be difficult for matt at the time due to other things he had going on and sourcing parts he would need.

I am still on the lookout.

There is nothing wrong with Matts work or his prices so if you are looking for someone to do some work for you he is your man.

I had read that thread, the guy does not have any left apart from one he agreed to sell me a couple of months back when he had finished a side mount turbo set up.

I have not had any contact for a long time now so I'm still looking.

I stated my price but no reply... I never said I was too busy, just 3 weeks is not a lot of time to make a manifold from scratch.

...I am able to make manifolds up, but need a few weeks to get the parts together and make a jig up. *oh well*

I am currently making a couple of exhausts for some people which include a Gt17, and T2 which will both require no bulkhead mods. I am happy to make exhausts up for people, but its only something I can only do in my spare time so need a bit of time to make them up.

I never got a price mate, you asked me to offer a price! lol

I have the email in my pm's still.

I was polite and said nothing derogatory but you took it to that level anyway by making me out to be a time waster or impatient over how long it would take you?

Thanks! lol

I offered to help you out, as you seemed quite desperate, asked how much you were willing to pay, to see if we were in the same ball park, then I gave you a price, then no reply...its courtesy to at least reply either way...thats common dignity.

I know you haven't been derogatory, but after ive spent quite a few hours sourcing parts to mock this up it would be nice to know where I stand.

So in short my time has been wasted.

And yes I am willing to help out fellow TM members on here with making stuff where I can, and most respect that things take time, that doesn't mean "im too busy".

Rant over.....

The mods can look in my pm,s as I never got a price or any further replies from you.

If you have any further issues with this then please contact me direct via pm as this just looks childish by having this discussion on an open forum.

Thanks

I never said three weeks was a long wait... He was doing other things at the time
The three weeks comment is down to him and not me.

But anyway whats done is done and I'm not gonna slag the bloke off on a public forum so I think its best to just put this to bed now.
